The miraculous shrine that defies the eclipse closure norms, remains open 24 hours, know more

Khandwa (The Uttam Hindu): There is a lot of curiosity among the common people about the lunar eclipse occurring today across the country. Due to the beliefs of the Sutak period, the doors of almost all the big and small temples, Shaktipeeths and Jyotirlingas related to Sanatan Dharma across the world will remain completely closed for darshan and worship. But you will be very surprised to know that there is one such miraculous temple in India, which is not affected by the lunar or solar eclipse. The doors of this amazing temple remain open for the devotees 24 hours a day, seven days a week even during the eclipse period, where the process of Aarti, worship and darshan continues uninterrupted without any interruption.
The Sutak period of the eclipse has no effect
We are talking about the famous Avdhoot Saint Dadaji Dhuniwale Temple located in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. This sacred shrine is considered to be immune to any effects of solar or lunar eclipses. Even during eclipses, devotees from India and abroad arrive in large numbers, just like every day, to receive the blessings of their revered Dadaji. Furthermore, the temple's servants perform the rituals of massage, bathing, lavish decoration, and regular aarti-pujan at the samadhis of Shri Keshavanand Ji Maharaj (Bada Dadaji) and Shri Hariharanand Ji Maharaj (Chhote Dadaji) without any interruption.
The rules made by Chote Dadaji are followed
According to the Shri Dadaji Temple Trust, the doors of the Shri Dadaji Temple will remain fully open for devotees to visit even during the lunar eclipse visible worldwide on Tuesday. In fact, the entire system and functioning of this temple is governed by rules established during the time of Chhote Dadaji, also known as Shri Harihar Bholenath. This unique and ancient tradition, which has been in place for years, remains unchanged even during an eclipse, and this center of devotees' faith remains as vibrant as ever.
Dadaji Maharaj is a form of all the gods and goddesses.
There's a profound spiritual reason behind this temple being unaffected by eclipses. The sacred book "Keshav Vinay," written during the time of Chote Dadaji, describes Dadaji Maharaj as the incarnation of Lord Dattatreya and a manifestation of all gods and goddesses. In this supreme state, the Sun, Moon, and the nine planets are considered subordinate to the Supreme Being. Subhash Nagori, trustee of the Shri Dadaji Temple, clarified that the eclipse has no effect on the temple premises, and darshan for devotees will continue uninterrupted throughout. Since Dadaji's time, the remarkable tradition of continuous havan (fire sacrifice) and offerings during eclipses continues uninterrupted.
