Shimla (Usha Sharma): BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that the present Congress government of Himachal Pradesh is constantly attacking the interests of Himachal Pradesh. Bindal, while opening a front against the Chief Minister, said that Sukhwinder Singh's government gave a big shock to the education world of Himachal Pradesh by deciding to give hundreds of bighas of land of the Agricultural University located in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh to private people. The society stood up for the rights of the land, the society protested. But the government did not pay heed and till date there is no answer as to what is the reason due to which that important land was decided to be given to the private sector and what benefit will Himachal get from it? Bindal said that while it is a great university and there is a lot of possibility of this work moving forward.

Bindal said that after this, another decision has been taken in which the decision to give Himachal Pradesh's best tourism department hotels to the private sector, in that shocking decision, the chairman of the tourism development corporation is saying something and the former leader of the opposition had strongly opposed this antisocial decision. Bindal said that the chief minister is saying about this decision that no, we are anyway giving these hotels forward and the government is thinking about it. Whereas the cabinet took a decision on 28 June and that cabinet decision was not made public, it was kept hidden so that this decision did not come to the notice of the public. The big question is that why is Sukhu doing privatization?

Bindal said that this government is continuously closing schools, locking them and while locking them, they have used a new word. We are not closing them, we are merging the schools. Now who is locking them? The school is already closing, it is being merged. Similarly, the government is engaged in selling hotels. The CM is saying that the hotels are being leased. By finding new words, the interests of Himachal Pradesh are being attacked. Tourism hotels are being sold but CM Sukhu is not agreeing.
