A Shameful Incident in Haridwar: Teenager Gang-Raped and Thrown From the Roof

Haridwar (The Uttam Hindu): A shameful incident has come to light from Haridwar's Pathri area. Where a teenage girl was taken to a cowshed and gang-raped. Then after the gang-rape, the brutes threw her from the roof.

According to the police, in a village in Pathri area, a young man took a teenage girl with him to a cowshed. It is said that two of his friends, including a minor, were already present there. It is alleged that all three raped her. Seeing the girl being taken to the cowshed, some youths reached there. It is alleged that they took the girl to the roof and threw her in the field behind. When the door opened, the youths reached the roof while making a video with their mobile. Then, on looking down, the girl was seen lying down. When an attempt was made to lift the girl, she started screaming in pain. She suffered serious injuries due to falling from the roof.

On getting the information that the girl was a Muslim and the accused belonged to another community, a large number of villagers from the nearby villages gathered and reached the Ferupur police station. Many leaders including Congress leader Mukarram Ansari demanded action against the accused. The incident created tension in the village. The police is busy in registering a case and arresting the accused and getting the victim medically examined.
