Sumit says he has been married for 11 years and has two young children, but for the past two years his wife has been having an affair with a young man who is related to his family.

Sumit said he tried to reason with his wife several times, but she continued her relationship with the young man, disregarding her family and children. A few days ago, Sumit received information that his wife was with the same young man at a hotel in Solan. When he arrived, he found them in a compromising position.

Sumit said he reported the entire matter to both the Solan police station and the women's police station, but no concrete action was taken. Police officers only advised him to "compromise." According to Sumit, his wife and her partner have threatened him several times. He said he now fears for his life and that of his children.
