10-Year-Old Boy Brutally Murdered in Haldwani, Body Found Disfigured

Haldwani (The Uttam Hindu): The body of a 10-year-old child was found buried in the ground in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, while his head was missing. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to this incident. The child's body was cut into several pieces and buried in the ground. At present, the police have taken the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem.

According to the information, this incident is from West Kheda under Kathgodam police station area of Haldwani. Khub Karan Maurya, originally a resident of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, lives with his family in West Kheda of Gaulapar. His 10-year-old son Amit Maurya went missing on Monday. He had gone to the grocery store and then did not return home. The family was upset due to the disappearance of the son. The police was also informed about this. However, the next day on Tuesday, the body of Amit Maurya was found in a field. With the help of the dog squad, the child's body was found, but his head and one hand were missing. The news of the son's murder caused an uproar in the family.

The victim's father Khub Karan Maurya said that his son Amit, who studies in class 5, went to the shop to buy a cold drink at around 12:30 in the afternoon, but did not return after that. When the surrounding area was searched, he was seen going with a person in a CCTV. He said that on being informed, the police detained a youth, after which a dog squad team was called. After a long search, the son's body was found. The victim's father accused the local youths of murder. He demanded that justice should be done and the culprits should be given severe punishment. Haldwani CO Nitin Lohani said that the child's body has been sent for post-mortem. The entire matter is being investigated. Soon the matter will be revealed.
