Explosive Scare in National Capital: Bomb Threat at Dwarka School, Police Launch Massive Search Operation

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A fresh bomb threat has sent shockwaves across the national capital after an e-mail warning claimed that a school in Dwarka would be blown up on Friday morning. The threat created panic among staff and parents, forcing an immediate evacuation of the school.

According to reports, the Delhi Fire Services received the alert at 7:05 AM and immediately relayed the information to the police. Soon after, Delhi Police teams, the Bomb Disposal Squad, and multiple fire tenders rushed to the scene at the school located in Dwarka Sector-7.

Authorities confirmed that the entire building was evacuated as a precautionary measure, ensuring the safety of all students and staff. A senior officer said that intense searches are being carried out to rule out any explosive presence.

Police have also begun tracing the source of the threat e-mail, which has once again highlighted growing security concerns in the capital’s schools.

The investigation is underway, and officials assured parents that all necessary precautions are being taken to safeguard children and staff.
