New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): Transferring PF money has now become easier for employed people. PF transfer claim will not be rejected due to overlap in service period.

Whenever you change jobs, you can transfer the balance from your old employer's EPF account to the new employer's EPF account. This is called transfer claim. But many times it happens that the service dates of the old and new employer overlap. Due to which the transfer claim is rejected. Regarding this, EPFO ​​has now clarified that now the transfer claim will not be rejected just because there is an overlap in the service dates of two companies.

According to the new circular issued, if overlapping dates are found in a transfer claim, it means that the regional office does not have to reject that claim. You will have to give clarification only when there is a real need to do so. For this, the transfer office has been given the responsibility to take the process forward without returning or rejecting the claim and respond only in important cases.
