Thiruvananthapuram (The Uttam Hindu): The repair work of the British Royal Navy's state-of-the-art F-35B fighter aircraft, which was parked at Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram International Airport for the last five weeks, has been completed. After all the necessary checks, the aircraft has received final clearance for flying and it will fly on Tuesday to return to its mission.

According to the information, this fighter plane had to make an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram airport due to a serious fault in the hydraulic system. This plane was parked at the airport for the last one and a half months, and a team of British and local technicians were working day and night to repair it.

Sources said the aircraft's fault has been successfully fixed and all necessary technical and safety clearances have been received for it to take off on Tuesday. The warship's unexpected long stopover at an Indian airport had attracted a lot of attention. Now that the repairs are complete, it is finally ready to resume its mission.
