Famous Actor and TV Show Host Accused of Rape; Promised Role and Marriage, Says Actress

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Actor and host Ejaz Khan's troubles are mounting. Already surrounded by controversy over his show House Arrest, Khan has now been accused of rape by a 30-year-old actress. A case was registered at Charkop Police Station in Mumbai on Sunday evening.

According to the actress, Ejaz Khan promised her the role of a host in his show House Arrest and got close to her during the shoot. She alleges that he first proposed to her, then lured her with promises of marriage after converting religion. Using these promises, he allegedly established physical relations with her multiple times against her will.

Charkop Police have filed a rape case against Ejaz Khan under sections 64, 64(2M), 69, and 74 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). According to police, the accused exploited the woman sexually on the pretext of offering a film role and marriage.

It’s worth noting that Ejaz Khan was already facing criticism for the obscene content of his show House Arrest. This new allegation has further deepened his legal troubles
