India Exposes Pakistan and TRF’s Role in Pahalgam Terror Attack, Presents Black Book Evidence at UN
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): India has put Pakistan and its terrorist network in the dock on the international platform for the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. India has proved with evidence in the United Nations (UN) that Lashkar-e-Taiba and its front organization The Resistance Front (TRF) are involved in this attack.
On 22 April, terrorists brutally murdered 26 tourists in Pahalgam after asking their religion. In response to this, India took strict action under 'Operation Sindoor' on the terrorist hideouts across the border. Now India has opened a diplomatic front at the international level with evidence regarding this attack.
Pakistan and TRF's hand in Pahalgam terror attack, India exposed the black book with evidence in UN : On Thursday, India presented detailed evidence before the United Nations Office for Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) and Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED). This evidence has exposed the direct links between TRF and Lashkar-e-Taiba. India has demanded to declare TRF as a globally banned terrorist organization.
The documents presented by India make it clear that TRF is a front organisation of Lashkar-e-Taiba, which is supported by Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI. Immediately after the attack, TRF took responsibility for it, but later denied it due to international pressure and instructions from Pakistan.
According to Indian officials, TRF had withdrawn the statement at the behest of its masters across the border. This terrorist organization is continuously using social media and local networks to spread terror in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources, India has also approached the UN's 1267 committee to declare TRF a terrorist. This is the third time after May and November 2024 that India has presented strong evidence against TRF before this committee.
India has made it clear that it maintains a 'zero tolerance' policy against terrorism. A joint team of the Ministry of External Affairs and national security agencies met UN representatives and exposed the truth about TRF's dangerous intentions and its Pakistani patronage.
