India-Pakistan Tension: One-Click Guide to Services Closed and Operational

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): Amid the growing tension between India and Pakistan, many services have been stopped and many services will continue on Saturday and Sunday as well. Different decisions have been taken in different states and the central government has also issued related instructions to its departments.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda said in an important meeting today that all health care staff should cancel their leave and return to work. Hospitals adjoining the border have been put on alert.

* Chandigarh DC office will remain open on Saturday and Sunday as well.

* CTU has stopped its bus service to Jammu-Katra.

* For those who are lining up at petrol pumps, India's largest oil company Indian Oil Corporation has said that there is sufficient availability of petrol, diesel and cooking gas LPG in the country. In such a situation, people need not panic.

* North Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Shashi Kiran informed that some train services are facing obstacles like partial cancellation, rescheduling and delay in the route. Railways have appealed to the passengers to check their travel plans so that they do not face inconvenience.

* More than 22 airports have been closed. Many aviation companies have also issued travel advisory for their passengers.

* Amid the conflict with Pakistan, a big decision has been taken regarding IPL in India. It has been suspended indefinitely.
