Former CM Jairam Thakur Narrows Escape as Landslide Strikes in Mandi, Saves Life by Swift Action - Watch Dramatic Video

Mandi/Shimla (The Uttam Hindu): Heavy rains and landslides have caused massive destruction in Himachal Pradesh. Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur had a narrow escape in a major accident in Seraj Assembly constituency of Mandi district. Suddenly stones fell on his car from the hill, but he showed agility and saved his life by getting out of the car.

This incident happened when Jairam Thakur was returning from Karsog to his hometown Thunag. Amidst heavy rains near Shankar Dehra, his car was suddenly showered with stones. Fortunately, Jairam Thakur got out of the car just before the stones fell on the car, thus averting a major accident. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of panic in the area.
