Major Incident at Delhi Airport: Tin Roof Collapses at Terminal 3 Amid Strong Winds – Watch Video

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): An accident has happened due to strong storm and heavy winds at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport) of the capital Delhi. Due to strong wind pressure, a part of the tin roof fell down at Terminal 3 of the airport.

Immediately after the incident, passengers and staff present at the airport were evacuated to safe places. According to preliminary information, there is no news of any loss of life or property in this accident.

Airport officials have reached the spot and are assessing the situation. The damage caused by the collapsed roof is being assessed. However, the incident has not had any significant impact on the normal operations of the airport and flight operations are continuing as usual.
