Manvinder Singh, Former Deputy Director at DIPR, Promoted to Joint Director in Punjab Government

Chandigarh(The Uttam Hindu): The Punjab Government has promoted Manvinder Singh, Deputy Director in the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), to the position of Joint Director. A 2011 batch Information and Public Relations Officer (IPRO), Singh has been serving as Deputy Director since 2020. He has previously held the role of District Public Relations Officer (DPRO) in Jalandhar from 2017 to 2020, where he was recognized for his exemplary work during significant events such as the 550th Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the COVID-19 pandemic.

In his new capacity, Singh will oversee the electronic media, social media and web channels within the department, in addition to his responsibilities related to the Chief Minister's Office. His promotion reflects his dedication and effective communication strategies that have contributed to enhancing the department's outreach and public engagement.

Additionally, Ishvinder Singh Grewal, who has been serving as Deputy Director, has also been elevated to the position of Joint Director. Both promotions aim to strengthen the leadership within the DIPR and further the government's efforts in transparent and effective communication.
