Viral Video: Man Beats Woman in Mumbai Train Coach

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): A disturbing video of a man physically assaulting a woman on a Mumbai local train has gone viral, sparking widespread outrage on social media. The incident occurred on May 16 on a train running between Kanjurmarg and Kalyan stations, after a heated argument between the two passengers escalated into physical violence.

The altercation began when the man boarded a coach reserved for specially-abled passengers, prompting the woman to object. Another passenger intervened, stopping the man from further assaulting the woman. A police case has been filed, and efforts are underway to trace the accused, with a joint team from the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) investigating the matter.
