New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): India recently targeted Pakistani military facilities and airbases during the four-day standoff with Pakistan in which India has gained a 'clear lead', according to sources. According to the report, high-resolution satellite images before and after the attacks show that the Indian attacks have caused 'clear damage' to Pakistan's airbase. The report said that this conflict between India and Pakistan was the biggest in the last fifty years and both sides have used missiles on each other.

According to the report, satellite images show that the attacks were widespread, but the damage was much more limited than claimed and Pakistan has suffered more damage in these attacks. It says that even though both sides have claimed to have inflicted serious damage on each other, satellite images clearly show that India has hit the target precisely.

The attack on the Bholari airbase near Karachi is considered very important, where satellite images clearly show the damage to the aircraft hangar. India had targeted the aircraft hangar at the Bholari airbase, located about 100 miles from Karachi. "The visuals show apparent damage to what appears to be a hangar," the New York Times reported, adding that the most sensitive Indian attack was on the Nur Khan airbase, located near Pakistan's capital Islamabad and close to the army headquarters and the prime minister's office.

The unit at Nur Khan airbase looks after the security of Pakistan's nuclear weapons. The facilities here have been damaged by India with precision weapons. India has claimed that it has caused heavy damage to the runways of Pakistan's Sargodha and Rahim Yar Khan airbases. Satellite images supported these claims, showing the affected infrastructure.

Pakistan had claimed that it had completely destroyed India's Udhampur airbase. However, satellite images of May 12 do not confirm that claim and the airbase is without any damage.
