Islamabad (The Uttam Hindu): Tensions between India and Pakistan are continuously deepening after the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The tough steps taken by India against Pakistan, including the tough stand taken on the Indus Water Treaty (according to the source) or the water of the Indus River, have created panic in Pakistan. The Indian government's alleged decision not to send even a single drop of Indus River water to Pakistan (steps to stop the treaty, according to the source) has rattled the neighboring country, after which Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has given a direct threat to India.

Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif made a very provocative statement during an interview, saying that blocking the Indus river water to Pakistan would be considered 'aggression'. When the minister was asked what Pakistan's response would be if India planned to block the water by building a dam on the Indus basin, Khawaja Asif said, "This would be aggression against Pakistan. Attacks are not only done with guns and bullets, stopping or diverting water is also an attack on Pakistan." He further threatened, "If they (India) make any such attempt, Pakistan will destroy that structure."

It is worth noting that this increased tension has arisen after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, in which terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba's front organization 'The Resistance Front' (TRF) brutally killed 26 tourists. Since this attack, the relations between the two countries have become bitter. India has taken many strict steps against Pakistan. A large number of social media accounts operated from Pakistan have been banned. Apart from this, from Saturday, India has also completely stopped all postal and parcel services to Pakistan.
