PM Modi’s Security and Health a Top Priority: Mandatory COVID Test for All VIPs Before Meeting
Kanpur (The Uttam Hindu): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Kanpur today. During this time, he is scheduled to meet many prominent people of the city. Giving top priority to the safety and health of the Prime Minister, the local administration has made special arrangements. Under this, corona virus testing has been made mandatory for all the persons meeting the Prime Minister. Unless their corona test report comes negative, they will not be allowed to meet the Prime Minister.
The administration has prepared a list of VIPs who will meet the Prime Minister, which includes local leaders, senior officials and other prominent people. All of them will have to undergo mandatory corona test before meeting the Prime Minister. Only if they are found negative in the test, they will be eligible for further meeting.
According to the information, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend a total of six different meetings today, in which people from different groups will meet him. Kanpur Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Haridutt Nemi has issued an official letter in this regard. In the letter, he has clearly stated that every person meeting the Prime Minister will have to ensure compliance with the COVID-19 protocol. The Health Department has also formed a special team to ensure smooth completion of this process. This team includes three experienced doctors and other necessary health workers, who will take responsibility for corona testing of all the visitors.
The administration has specially ordered 300 rapid antigen kits from Mumbai to test the people who meet the Prime Minister. All the people will be tested quickly through these kits. The health department is fully alert and strict monitoring is being done at every level. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the slight increase in the cases of corona virus in the country once again. The main objective of the administration is to avoid any kind of possible negligence and ensure the safety of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
