Lucknow (The Uttam Hindu): Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj got engaged on Sunday in Lucknow. The ceremony took place at a five-star hotel, The Centrum, with family members and close friends in attendance.

Details of the Engagement

1. Family Consent: The marriage was fixed with the consent of both families after they met at Rinku's house in Aligarh earlier this year.

2. Wedding Date: The wedding is scheduled to take place on November 18, 2025, at the Taj Hotel in Varanasi.

3. VIP Guests: Over 300 guests, including SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Jaya Bachchan and other prominent politicians and cricketers, have been invited.

1. Rinku and Priya's Outfits: Rinku wore a white designer kurta and pyjama, while Priya wore a pink lehenga.

About the Couple

 Priya Saroj: Priya is a 25-year-old MP representing Machhlishahr in Jaunpur district. She is one of the youngest MPs in the Lok Sabha and has a law degree from Amity University, Noida.

 Rinku Singh: Rinku is a 27-year-old cricketer who plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. He gained popularity after hitting five consecutive sixes in an IPL match.
