Jaipur (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic and shocking incident has come to light from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. A 9-year-old girl, a fourth-grade student at a prestigious private school, fell from the school building and died under suspicious circumstances. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, raising many questions. Most shockingly, the school administration has been accused of destroying evidence by having the scene of the incident washed away with water immediately after the incident, even before the CCTV footage was released.

CCTV footage of the incident shows 9-year-old Amaira walking normally for a few moments in the school's fourth-floor corridor. She then approaches a railing and slowly attempts to climb it. She balances on the railing for a few seconds, but suddenly loses her balance and falls. The entire scene is deeply moving and horrifying.

The role of the school administration in this case is deeply suspect. It is alleged that after the incident, the school authorities had the area where the girl fell washed with water before the police arrived. This is believed to be a clear attempt to erase blood stains and other crucial evidence.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Mansarovar police station and a forensic team immediately arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, the police seized the entire DVR of the school's CCTV system so that forensic experts could verify that the footage had not been edited or tampered with. The forensic team also collected blood samples from the walls and floor of the crime scene to scientifically reconstruct the erased evidence. Investigating officer Lakhan Khatana stated that the footage clearly shows the girl climbed the railing, but the investigation is focused on how she reached there and whether someone instigated her to do so.

Considering the seriousness of the incident, Education Minister Madan Dilawar sent a six-member investigation committee to the school. However, the school management, displaying its authoritarianism, stopped the team at the gate. All officials, including District Education Officer Ramniwas Sharma, stood outside for an hour and a half, but neither the school principal nor any other management member appeared. Officials have warned that if the investigation fails, the school's recognition could be revoked.

This incident is not just an accident; it raises serious questions about the safety, sensitivity, and responsibility of schools. Many questions remain unanswered, such as whether the girl was mentally harassed at school, whether this was merely an accident, or whether someone forced her to act. Even more serious is the question: why did the school administration destroy evidence and stop the Education Department's investigation team at the gate, which directly casts doubt on their motives.
