Tragic Road Accident Claims Lives of Three Family Members

 Bangalore (The Uttam Hindu): A devastating road accident near Holalkere in Karnataka resulted in the deaths of three members of a family on Monday morning. The accident occurred when their car collided with a lorry around 4 am. According to preliminary investigation, the driver of the car allegedly fell asleep while driving, causing the vehicle to veer into the opposite lane and collide with the oncoming lorry. The lorry was traveling from Mangaluru to Bellary, while the car was headed from Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh to Udupi.

 The accident claimed the lives of three family members, including a woman. The driver of the car sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chitradurga. His condition is reportedly stable. The police have registered a case and are conducting further investigation into the accident.
