18 Lakh Visitors Attend IITF 2025: 14-Day Fair Concludes with Award Ceremony

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the 44th edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) concluded with an awards ceremony, marking the end of the 14-day event that recorded participation from more than 1.8 million visitors. ITPO Managing Director Dr. Neeraj Khairwal presented the IITF-2025 awards to the best-performing participants.

In the Partner State category, Rajasthan won the Gold Medal, while Bihar secured Silver and Uttar Pradesh received Bronze. Maharashtra was given a special appreciation certificate. In the Focus State category, Jharkhand earned the Gold Medal. Among states and union territories, Odisha won Gold, Madhya Pradesh received Silver, and Puducherry bagged Bronze. Delhi, Goa, and Karnataka were awarded certificates of appreciation.

In the thematic presentation category for states, Meghalaya received the Gold Medal, Kerala won Silver, and Andhra Pradesh took Bronze. Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tripura were given appreciation certificates.

In the Ministries and Government Departments category, the Ministry of Defence won Gold, the Ministry of Mines received Silver, and the Ministry of Railways secured Bronze. The Ministry of AYUSH, Ministry of Power, and the Ministry of Rural Development (Saras Aajeevika Mela) received special appreciation certificates.

Under the ‘Empowered India’ (Ministries & Departments) category, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare earned the Gold Medal, the MSME Ministry received Silver, and NBCC (India) Limited won Bronze. The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Coal India Limited, and NAFED were given special appreciation certificates.

Dr. Neeraj Khairwal said that the 14-day fair saw large-scale participation from various sectors. He highlighted that the theme “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” was reflected throughout the event. The fair showcased cutting-edge technology, state-of-the-art pavilions, agricultural innovations, and eco-friendly initiatives—demonstrating India’s self-reliance, creativity, and vast potential. He also invited suggestions to improve future editions of the fair.
