Airtel’s big bonanza: Unlimited data offer unveiled for these subscribers
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Airtel, the country's second-largest telecom company, has given its customers a wonderful gift. The company has now officially announced unlimited data on all its postpaid plans. Previously, this special offer was limited to select circles, but now it has been extended to all circles across the country. The company is taking this step to improve its ARPU, encouraging more customers to switch from prepaid to postpaid.
The base plan of Rs 449 offers a host of benefits.
Airtel's postpaid plans start at Rs 449, with 18 percent GST payable separately. This plan comes with a one-month validity and normally offers 50GB of data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. However, under the new offer, users will now receive unlimited data. However, there is a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit of 300GB for 30 days. Additionally, customers will also receive 100GB of Google One cloud storage, a three-month Jio-Hotstar mobile subscription, a one-year Adobe Premium subscription, and free access to Airtel Xstream Play as additional benefits.
The new offer will also be applicable on the Rs 699 family plan.
In addition to single users, Airtel's family postpaid plan, starting at ₹699, is also covered by this new unlimited data offer. This plan also incurs an additional 18% GST, and it allows two people to keep their SIM cards active simultaneously. This family plan typically offers 105GB of data along with unlimited calling and daily SMS, but with the company's new announcement, these customers will also receive unlimited data.
