6-Day Bank Holiday Alert: Complete Urgent Work Before It's Too Late
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): If you have any important work related to the bank next week, then this news is for you. Next week, banks will remain closed for a total of 6 days due to festivals and weekly holidays in different states of the country. According to the list of holidays of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), these holidays include local festivals like Beh Dinkhlam, Harela, death anniversary of Tirot Singh and Ker Puja.
It is important to note that all these holidays are not national and will be applicable only in the states. However, banks remain closed across the country on Sundays and second-fourth Saturdays. So, complete your bank-related work on time to avoid any inconvenience.
Banks will remain closed on these dates next week:
July 13 (Sunday): Banks will be closed across India on account of weekly holiday.
July 14 (Monday): Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya (Shillong) on the occasion of Beh Dinkhlam festival.
July 16 (Wednesday): Banks will remain closed in Uttarakhand (Dehradun) and parts of Himachal Pradesh due to Harela festival.
July 17 (Thursday): Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya (Shillong) on the death anniversary of Khasi chief U Tirot Singh.
July 19 (Saturday): Banks will remain closed in Tripura (Agartala) on account of Ker Puja festival.
July 20 (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country due to weekly holiday.
