Dubai(The Uttam Hindu): A café in Dubai has introduced the world's most expensive cup of coffee, priced at nearly $1,000 (around Rs 89,000) per serving. The rare brew, made from Nido 7 Geisha beans grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Baru in Panama, is known for its floral aroma and delicate sweetness.

The café's co-founder, Serkan Sagsoz, said the beans were purchased at a Panama auction for a record $600,000 (around Rs 5 crore) for 20 kilograms. The coffee is described as having white floral notes, citrus flavors, and hints of apricot and peach. With only 400 cups available, the expensive brew is more than just a drink – it's a luxury experience.
