Haier unveils gravity AI ACs with self-cleaning outdoor unit, starting at ₹49,990

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Haier, the leading home appliances manufacturing company, has launched its new 'Gravity AI' series of air conditioners in the Indian market, which are being described as very advanced in terms of technology. The company has developed these ACs on its special AI-AtmoX platform, in which the main focus is on comfort, savings and service. The biggest speciality of this new series is that it is the first such AC range to be launched in India which comes with automatic outdoor unit cleaning service. This means that now consumers will not have to worry about cleaning the compressor unit hanging outside the AC, because this machine is capable of cleaning itself.

Under this new technology, Haier has used 'Reverse Air Flow Technology', which keeps the outdoor unit clean. Self-cleaning technology is provided not only in the outdoor unit but also in the indoor unit. This system will automatically clean itself after every 240 hours of operation, which will not only improve the air flow in the room but will also maintain internal hygiene. The company claims that these ACs equipped with AI Climate Control 2.0 will provide great relief to users in the summer.

Keeping power savings in mind, the company has included an AI-AtmoX power manager. This feature tracks power consumption in real time, allowing users to see how much electricity they've used throughout the month. Additionally, it offers features like personalized cooling, scheduled cooling, and AI Eco Mode, which can adjust cooling to three different levels. Multiple AI features like climate control, pre-cooling, and target cooling make it even more special.

Haier has also revealed its big plans for the Indian market. The company is expanding its manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, which will take the annual production capacity to 25 lakh units. The company aims to increase its annual production from 15 lakh to 40 lakh units by 2027. Currently, Haier has an 8% share in the Indian AC market, which the company plans to increase to 17% by 2030. Talking about the price, the starting price of Haier Gravity AI series has been kept at Rs 49,990 and it can be purchased through both online and offline mediums.
