New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Tata Motors has rolled out a major update to its much-anticipated SUV-coupe range, the Curvv. The company has introduced several new comfort and design features across petrol, diesel, and electric (EV) variants. The update primarily aims to improve the car's cabin space, comfort, and interior luxury, while maintaining its robust safety and performance.

The company says that the new Curvv now features several segment-first features. Smart engineering innovations have further enhanced interior space, providing greater space and comfort for all passengers.

Major changes in the cabin

Tata Motors has made the cabin of the updated Curvv and Curvv EV more luxurious and comfortable than ever before. Several significant changes have been made, including the introduction of India's first 'R-Comfort' seats, equipped with passive ventilation technology. 'Serenity Screen' sunshades have been provided for passenger privacy and protection from heat. Apart from this, a convenient 'Cup Dock' (cup holder) has also been added to the rear armrest. Giving the car's interior a fresh look, a new interior theme has been introduced with a white carbon fiber style dashboard and leather seats, which further enhance its premium feel.

The Curvv EV, in particular, also features PureComfort footrests and ErgoWing headrests for rear passengers, features usually found only in expensive luxury cars.

New Prices

Tata Motors has launched the new Curvv at highly competitive pricing in the mid-size SUV segment. Prices start at ₹14.55 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol and diesel variants. The electric version, the Curvv EV, starts at ₹18.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for both Accomplished and Empowered variants.

Premium Features and Safety

The new Curvv not only offers luxury but also comes with several other premium features that make it a complete package. It features a large 12.3-inch HARMAN touchscreen infotainment system paired with a 9-speaker JBL audio system with Arcade.ev connectivity. Adding to the convenience factor, it gets a gesture-controlled power tailgate and a panoramic sunroof with mood lighting. Furthermore, it also includes a twin-zone climate control AC to ensure cabin comfort.

Large boot space of 500 litres

Tata Motors has made no compromises when it comes to safety either. The Curvv has received a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Furthermore, it now also comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), making it one of the safest SUVs in its class. With these new updates, Tata aims to further establish the Curvv as a premium mid-size SUV.
