Central Bank of India marks 115 years with ‘Stay Fit, Stay Healthy’ walkathon in Delhi

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): On the occasion of its 115th Foundation Day, the Gurugram Regional Office of Central Bank of India organised a Walkathon on December 16, 2025, at DDA Park in Dwarka under the theme “Stay Fit, Stay Healthy.” The initiative aimed to promote health awareness among employees and the general public, while encouraging people to make regular physical activity an integral part of their daily lives.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from senior bank officials, employees, and their family members. Walking together in unison, participants conveyed a strong message highlighting the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and a disciplined lifestyle.

Addressing the gathering, Gurugram Regional Head Mr. Sunny Kalra said,

“A healthy body and a positive mindset are the greatest assets of any organisation. This walkathon, organised with the message ‘Stay Fit, Stay Healthy,’ not only motivates our employees to adopt a healthy lifestyle but also serves as a powerful medium to spread health awareness across society. Throughout its 115-year journey, Central Bank of India has always placed social responsibility at the forefront.”
