Massive donations, grand feasts for 1 lakh cows and royal treat for elephants; Anant Ambani’s birthday celebrations win hearts
Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): The 31st birthday celebration of Anant Ambani, younger son of Mukesh Ambani, has become a major talking point across the country. Instead of limiting the occasion to private parties, Anant marked the day with large-scale charity and service to animals, drawing widespread appreciation. While a grand celebration was hosted for celebrities at his dream project Vantara in Jamnagar, he also carried out extensive philanthropic activities.
Grand feast for elephants and special cake celebration
On the occasion, special care was taken for animals. Over 100 elephants in the outskirts of Jaipur were served a grand feast. A large fruit buffet was arranged, including watermelon, apples, bananas, papaya, oranges, and green fodder, with around 3,000 fruits provided. In a unique moment, three elephants together cut a 2.5-foot cake. Mahouts were also supported with gifts such as shoes, clothes, and ration kits.
Special ‘chhappan bhog’ for over 1 lakh cows
Anant Ambani’s commitment to cow welfare was also evident. More than one lakh cows across the country were served specially prepared “chhappan bhog.” Videos of cows being fed elaborately are widely circulating on social media, and this initiative has received significant appreciation.
Donations to temples and food for children
Apart from animal welfare, Anant contributed generously to religious and social causes. Reports suggest he donated ₹3 crore to the Guruvayur Temple and also made a similar donation for the renovation of Rajarajeshwaram Temple.
In addition, more than 1.07 lakh government school children in Hyderabad were provided meals and school kits. Around 12,000 to 15,000 people at various locations were also served free food as part of the celebrations.
Bollywood stars gather at Vantara celebration
Alongside the charitable efforts, a grand party was आयोजित at Vantara in Jamnagar, attended by leading Bollywood celebrities. Stars such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Ranveer Singh were present, adding glamour to the celebration.
