Monsoon Gains Pace in Delhi-NCR, Maximum Temperature to Stay Below 34°C

Noida (The Uttam Hindu): Monsoon has knocked in the entire NCR including Delhi and now the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for July 6. According to the Meteorological Department report, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in the afternoon, evening and night on July 6. Also, strong winds will blow and incidents of lightning may also occur.

For July 6, the Meteorological Department has issued a special warning that light to moderate rains along with thunderstorms and lightning may be recorded throughout the day. However, it is a matter of relief that no serious warning (red or orange alert) has been issued yet. On July 6, the maximum temperature will be recorded at 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 27 degrees Celsius. On this day, the humidity level will be around 85 percent in the morning and 65 percent in the evening, due to which there will be heavy humidity in the weather.

According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be generally cloudy on July 7 and there is a possibility of moderate rain. No warning has been issued. There is also a possibility of rain or stormy rain between July 8 and 10. The maximum temperature will be around 33 degrees and the minimum will be around 25 degrees. There may be rain or thundershowers on July 11. The weather will remain pleasant but humidity will remain. The Meteorological Department has advised citizens to be cautious when lightning flashes in open spaces, avoid going out unnecessarily and be cautious while driving. Although on the one hand, people will get relief from heat and humidity due to rain, on the other hand, there will be disruption in the traffic system due to waterlogging.
