Gurugram (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic road accident occurred on Saturday night in Khod village of Pataudi, where a speeding Mahindra Thar ran over three pedestrians, killing a grandfather and his two young grandchildren on the spot.
According to information, 53-year-old Subhash, a resident of Khod, was returning home around 11 pm with his grandchildren—eight-year-old Zaid Khan and six-year-old Ishant—after visiting his brother’s house.
During this time, a Thar vehicle, allegedly being driven at high speed and in a negligent manner, hit them with great force. The impact was so severe that all three were thrown 10 to 30 feet away and died instantly due to critical injuries.
After the accident, the accused driver abandoned the vehicle at the scene and fled. Upon receiving information, police reached the spot, took the bodies into custody, and initiated further legal action. An investigation is currently underway.
