New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) - The 71st edition of the National Film Awards, the biggest honour of Indian cinema, is being organised in the capital Delhi on Tuesday. During this, Malayalam cinema superstar Mohanlal was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award during the 71st National Film Awards. While Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey were awarded the Best Actor award. Apart from this, Rani Mukerji was chosen as the Best Actress. 12th Fail got the National Film Award as the Best Film. President Draupadi Murmu presented these awards to Indian artists.

Mohanlal received his highest honor:

Mohanlal was honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023 at the 71st National Film Awards ceremony for his outstanding contributions to the film industry. As a mark of respect, everyone in the audience gave the actor a standing ovation. Shah Rukh Khan was also seen applauding Mohanlal.
