Bollywood Star Couple in Trouble: Mumbai Police Set to Issue Lookout Notice
Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra's troubles are going to increase. Lookout notices are likely to be issued against both of them in a fraud case of 60 crores. A senior police officer said on Friday that this step was taken because both of them often travel abroad. The purpose of the LOC is to ensure that the investigation of this case can be done easily and without any hindrance. Meanwhile, Shilpa has now announced to close her famous restaurant 'Bastian Bandra'.
Complainant businessman Deepak Kothari alleges that between 2015 and 2023, Shilpa and Raj took Rs 60 crore from him in the name of expanding the business. Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty also gave a written personal guarantee in April 2016, but within a few months Shilpa resigned from the post of director from the company and later it was found out that an insolvency case of Rs 1.28 crore is going on against the company. The businessman claims that he was not given any information about this. In this case, it is alleged that the money taken in the name of the company was spent on personal expenses.
