For the first time, Hema Malini breaks silence on Dharmendra’s alleged demise, shares heartfelt words

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) – This is a time of unbearable pain for Bollywood diva Hema Malini. She has witnessed the loss of the person she loved most, the one she fought her family to marry. For the first time since Dharmendra Deol's passing, Hema Malini has shared a post on social media expressing her grief.

Hema Malini took to the social media platform 'X' to reflect on the void left in her life by the demise of her husband and actor Dharmendra, and on his success in Hindi cinema as an actor. The actress wrote, "Dharam ji was so much to me. A loving husband, a doting father to our two daughters, Esha and Ahana, a friend, a mentor, a poet, and the first person to support me in every difficult moment, he was everything to me. He always supported me through thick and thin.

She further wrote, "With his easygoing, friendly demeanor and his constant affection and interest in everyone, he endeared himself to all members of my family. His humility, even in public, despite his popularity and success, has forever endeared him to all legends and fans. His success and popularity in Hindi cinema will always endure." Remembering their lifelong companionship and unparalleled love, Hema further wrote, "My personal loss is indescribable; the void left in my life will remain a lifetime. After years of togetherness, I have so many memories left to relive those special moments." Hema Malini also reminisced about her and Dharmendra Deol's loving moments on the social media platform Instagram, posting several photos.

Dharmendra Deol passed away on November 24th. The actor's last rites were performed hurriedly immediately after his death. The actor had been suffering from age-related complications for a long time and was admitted to Mumbai's Candy Breach Hospital. In his final moments, doctors declared him stable and discharged him from the hospital. However, he breathed his last five days later at his Juhu home. Dharmendra Deol and Hema Malini's love blossomed on the film set. Even after being married, Dharmendra developed a liking for Hema Malini. To spend more time with her, he would take roles opposite her in films and even pressure producers and directors to cast her in films. Gradually, after spending time together on set, Hema Malini also fell in love with Dharmendra. Dharmendra was already married, so she converted to Islam to marry him for the second time.
