Binge Alert! 'Special Ops 2' and These Web Series Are Dropping in July

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): The month of July is going to be even more special for web series lovers. OTT platforms are ready to add a tadka of entertainment. With a great mix of thriller, drama, historical and comedy, many web series are coming to win the hearts of the audience this month. From 'Special Ops 2' to 'The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case' and 'Sandman Season 2', there is something special for the fans of every genre.

The web series 'The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case' based on journalist Aniruddha Mitra's book '90 Days' is set to bring a painful chapter of India's history to the screen. Director Nagesh Kukunoor's series is set against the backdrop of the Rajiv Gandhi assassination, with actor Amit Sial in the lead role. The series will stream on Sony Liv on July 4.

Neeraj Pandey's superhit series 'Special Ops' is going to make a comeback with its second season. The series also stars actor Karan Tacker along with KK Menon in the lead role, who will once again be seen in the character of 'Himmat Singh'. This spy thriller full of thrill and suspense will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar on July 11.

The second season of Netflix's fantasy series 'Sandman' will be released in two parts. The first volume will be available on July 3 and the second on July 24. With a total of 11 episodes, this series will keep fantasy and mystery fans hooked.

Along with these series, comedian Vir Das' stand-up show 'Full Volume' is also ready to make the audience laugh. This show will stream on Netflix on July 18.

Apart from these series, Anurag Basu's multi-starrer 'Metro...In Dinon', Rajkummar Rao-Manushi Chillar's 'Malik', Vikrant Massey-Shanaya Kapoor starrer 'Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan', Fatima Sana Shaikh and R Madhavan's 'Aap Jaisa Koi', Abhishek Bachchan's 'Kalidhar Lapata', Siddharth Malhotra-Janhvi Kapoor's 'Param Sundari' as well as many films including 'Son of Sardar 2', 'Kingdom', 'Akshardham: Operation Vajra Shakti' are also ready for release in theaters and OTT.
