Known for his powerful and versatile performances across Bollywood, Punjabi, and South Indian cinema, Mukul Dev was widely respected for his dedication to the craft.

Born in New Delhi, Mukul was the younger brother of actor Rahul Dev. He initially trained as a pilot at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics in Chandigarh before pursuing acting. His television debut came in 1996 with the serial *Mumkin*, and he made his film debut the same year with *Dastak*.

Over the years, he carved out a prominent place in the industry with memorable roles in films like *Son of Sardaar*, *R... Rajkumar*, *Jai Ho*, and many others. He also hosted the first season of *Fear Factor India*, gaining popularity on television.
