Punjabi singer Miss Pooja quashes death news, shares funny post

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Miss Pooja, a renowned singer in the Punjabi music industry, has now put an end to rumors of her death circulating on social media. A viral Facebook post circulated false news of her death, which Miss Pooja humorously dismissed.

Miss Pooja posted a famous line from the Bollywood film Welcome on her Instagram account, "Abhi Hum Zinda Hain." She also shared a reel of herself in two different costumes, asking fans which look she looked more beautiful in. The image clearly shows that the singer is healthy and active.

In fact, a Facebook user named Harpreet Singh Gill shared a post claiming that Miss Pooja has "gone to the feet of the Guru" and that she was leaving this world. The post was shared on Thursday and quickly went viral. Taking a screenshot of the post, Miss Pooja posted it on her Instagram, captioning it, "Tal jo-tal jo, ain't no more dead... we're still alive." She also added a laughing emoji, indicating that she's taking the rumor lightly.



Miss Pooja, who has nearly 2.8 million followers on Instagram, heaved a sigh of relief after the rumors were debunked and criticized those spreading false news on social media.

It's worth noting that Miss Pooja has not only spread her magic with Punjabi music but also in Bollywood. She has sung popular songs like "Malamaal" from Housefull 3 and "Second Hand Jawani" from Cocktail.
