Rohit Shetty firing case: Bishnoi gang planned entire attack from inside jail
Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): The Mumbai Crime Branch has achieved a major breakthrough in the case of the firing at the Juhu residence of renowned Bollywood director Rohit Shetty. The investigation has revealed the sensational discovery that the attack was planned by Shubham Lonkar, the Maharashtra head of the Bishnoi gang, and his brother Praveen Lonkar. Notably, Praveen Lonkar is currently in jail for the Baba Siddiqui murder case. Despite this, he provided weapons and financial support for the attack on Rohit Shetty.
The Crime Branch suspects that Praveen Lonkar orchestrated this entire crime while in prison. According to the police, 12 suspects, including the main shooter, have been arrested so far in Pune, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Praveen Lonkar is currently in judicial custody and will soon be formally taken into police custody in this case.
According to the police, the motorcycle, pistol, and money used in the attack were provided on the instructions of Praveen Lonkar. The biggest question is how Praveen managed all this while in prison. Who were the people he was in contact with, and what channels were used to exchange messages.
A senior police officer stated that 12 Crime Branch teams are investigating the case. Taking Praveen Lonkar into custody will uncover the remaining links in the conspiracy and the Bishnoi gang's further plans.
