Shukla Kumar, wife of legendary actor Rajendra Kumar and mother of 80s actor Kumar Gaurav, has passed away. She breathed her last at the age of 89. Shukla Kumar's death has sent shockwaves through Bollywood, with many celebrities and fans paying tribute to her with tearful eyes on social media.

This news has also cast a pall of gloom over the family of Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt. Shukla Kumar and the Dutt family had a close relationship. She was the mother-in-law of Sanjay Dutt's sister, Namrata Dutt.

Although Shukla Kumar was the wife of Rajendra Kumar, popularly known as "Jubilee Kumar," she always kept herself away from the limelight and glamour. After 27 years, his wife also said goodbye to the world

Rajendra Kumar and Shukla Kumar have three children—a son, Kumar Gaurav, and two daughters, Dimple and Manorama. Kumar Gaurav followed in his father's footsteps to pursue a career in films, though he didn't achieve the same immense success as his father. Rajendra Kumar passed away in 1999. Nearly 27 years after her husband's death, Shukla Kumar has also passed away.

With Shukla Kumar's passing, people once again remembered the era of Rajendra Kumar. Rajendra Kumar was known as "Jubilee Kumar" because his films consistently ran for a silver jubilee (25 weeks).
