Haryana assembly speaker harvinder kalyan’s mother passes away, funeral today
Prem Kaur Kalyan, mother of Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan, passed away at the age of 85 in Karnal. Her last rites will be held today at Kutel village.
Karnal (The Uttam Hindu): Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan’s mother, Prem Kaur Kalyan, passed away late last night. She was around 85 years old. According to the family, she had been unwell for some time and was admitted to a hospital about 15 days ago.
After her health improved following treatment, she was brought back home. However, her condition suddenly deteriorated again last night and she passed away at around midnight. At the time, Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan was in Chandigarh. After receiving the news of his mother’s demise, he immediately reached his farmhouse in Kutel village of Karnal district.
According to the family, the last rites of Prem Kaur Kalyan will be performed today at 2:30 pm at Shivpuri in Kutel village. The information was shared by Harvinder Kalyan himself through his social media page. After the news of her passing spread, several political and social figures from the region expressed their condolences.
