Himachal minister Vikramaditya Singh marries for the second time, photos go viral
Shimla (The Uttam Hindu): Himachal Pradesh Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh has begun a new chapter in his life by marrying Amreen Sheikhon in Chandigarh. Amreen Sheikhon is an academic by profession and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Punjab University.
Amreen Sheikhon
is the daughter of Sardar Jotinder Singh Sheikhon and Opinder Kaur. She holds a double master's degree in English and psychology, and a PhD in psychology. Sheikhon also studied briefly at Harvard University. She and Vikramaditya Singh have a long-standing friendship, which has now led to marriage.
This is Vikramaditya Singh's second marriage. In 2019, he married Princess Sudarsana Chundawat of Amet, Rajasthan. However, due to differences, the relationship did not last long, and in 2024, the couple decided to separate.
Vikramaditya Singh, 36, is the son of six-time Himachal Chief Minister Raja Virbhadra Singh and carries on the family's political legacy. He is currently an MLA from Shimla Rural and the Minister of Public Works and Urban Development in the Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he contested against Kangana Ranaut from the Mandi seat, but lost.
