Horrific Road Accident: Thar Crashes into Divider, Five Dead

Gurugram (The Uttam Hindu): A devastating accident shook the Delhi-Jaipur highway in the early hours of Saturday when a black Thar SUV, reportedly traveling at high speed, lost control and crashed into the central divider near Jharsa flyover, Exit 9, Gurugram.

According to police, six people were inside the vehicle — three young women and three young men — traveling from Delhi to Jaipur. Due to overspeeding, the vehicle went out of control and collided with the divider.

The impact was so severe that three women and two men died on the spot, while one man sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

This accident has once again brought focus to the rising number of fatalities on national highways, particularly due to speeding SUVs. Authorities stress the need for stricter road safety awareness and adherence to traffic regulations to prevent such tragedies in the future.
