New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Good news has arrived for young aspirants dreaming of serving the nation by joining the Indian Army. The Army has officially announced the Agniveer recruitment examination results, for which thousands of candidates were eagerly waiting. In this selection process, candidates from the Varanasi region delivered a strong performance.
A total of 4,903 candidates participated in the recruitment process, out of which 2,900 candidates were finally selected after intense competition. The results mark a major milestone for these youths, whose long-standing dream of wearing the Army uniform has now come true.
Tough recruitment held at Ranbankure Ground
The recruitment rally was conducted at Ranbankure Ground in Varanasi Cantonment between November 8 and November 21, 2025. Thousands of candidates from 12 districts of Purvanchal took part in the physical and written examinations.
According to Army officials, all 2,900 selected candidates must now report to their respective Army Recruiting Offices (ARO) to complete further formalities. After document verification and other procedures, they will be sent for training. The training of this new batch is expected to begin within the next few weeks.
How to check the Agniveer result online
Candidates can check their results by visiting the official Indian Army website joinindianarmy.nic.in. After going to the result section on the homepage, candidates need to log in using their registration ID to view their result. The Army has advised successful candidates to download and keep a copy of the result for future reference.
Second chance for Muzaffarpur candidates
An important update has also emerged for candidates from Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Several aspirants had raised objections regarding the written examination conducted there and submitted complaints to the recruitment office.
The Army has taken these complaints seriously. Candidates who submitted their objections by December 15 are currently under review. If the complaints are found valid, a second merit list will be released in January 2026. This decision has revived hopes for many candidates who believed there were discrepancies in the examination process.
