Al Falah university denies involvement in Delhi blasts, releases official statement
Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu) : Following the busting of the Faridabad terror module and the blast near Delhi's Red Fort, Al Falah University is in the news. The reason is clear: two individuals associated with the university have been arrested, while a third person was killed in the blast near the Red Fort.
In light of this, the university has now issued an official statement stating that it has nothing to do with the blast. We express our condolences to those who lost their lives in the blast, but the manner in which our university's name is being invoked following the blast is tarnishing its dignity. It has also come to our attention that fabricated and false statements about our university are being circulated on various online social platforms, which are devoid of any truth. The primary purpose is to undermine the dignity of our university.
An official statement issued by the university stated, "We have come to our attention that two of our doctors have been arrested, but we want to clarify that our university campus was not used to manufacture chemicals used in any mischievous activities. The information being spread in this regard is completely misleading and baseless. All laboratories located on the university campus are used solely for the study of MBBS and other course students. Furthermore, all laboratories located in our university are operated in accordance with established guidelines."
The university stated that it would like to urge all organizations and others to verify the veracity of any information regarding our university before sharing it on any platform. Refrain from sharing any information regarding our university without verification. Furthermore, the official statement stated that we stand with the nation in this difficult time. We will ensure our full participation in any investigation into this incident. At the same time, we also want to clarify that all students at our university are solely engaged in their studies.
An official statement from the university stated that the Al Falah Group has been instrumental in the operation of several institutions since 1997. Al Falah University, established in 2014, is accredited by the University Grants Commission. Medical education has been offered at Al Falah University since 2019. Furthermore, Al Falah University clarified in its official statement that all of its medical students currently hold high and prestigious positions in medical institutions both domestically and internationally.
