'Don't Be Sad Seeing the Religion of Terrorists,' Amit Shah Tells Opposition as He Unveils Details of Operation Mahadev
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given a befitting reply to the uproar of the opposition in the Lok Sabha. Amit Shah was giving information on 'Operation Mahadev' in the House on Tuesday, in which the army killed three terrorists of Pahalgam. During this, there came a time when the opposition started making noise. The Union Home Minister did not stop but targeted SP President Akhilesh Yadav and advised him not to be sad.
Actually, during Amit Shah's address in the Lok Sabha, Akhilesh Yadav made a comment in between. On this, Amit Shah asked Samajwadi Party chief and Lok Sabha MP Akhilesh to sit down. After this, Amit Shah sarcastically said, "You should not be sad seeing the religion of the terrorists." Continuing his talk, the Home Minister said, "This is a very big joint success of our country's army and CRPF, Jammu and Kashmir Police, on which the whole country should be proud." Amit Shah also responded to Congress leader Chidambaram's comment in the Lok Sabha.
He said, "On Monday they (Congress) were asking us where did the terrorists come from? I am very sad that on Monday, former Home Minister of this country Chidambaram ji raised the question that what is the proof that these terrorists came from Pakistan." The Home Minister asked the question, "What do they want to say? Who do they want to save? What will you get by saving Pakistan?" On P. Chidambaram's comment, Amit Shah said in the Lok Sabha, "I want to say that we have proof that all three of them were Pakistanis. We have Pakistani voter numbers of two out of three. The terrorists had rifles, and the chocolates found with them were made in Pakistan." Amit Shah cornered the opposition and said, "They say that they were not Pakistanis. This means that a former Home Minister of the country is giving a clean chit to Pakistan in front of the whole world!" He said that in the meetings of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) on 23 and 30 April, the work of correcting the mistake made by the Congress was done. India canceled the 6-decade-old Indus Water Treaty. We immediately closed the Attari Land Transit Post.
We withdrew from the SAARC visa exemption scheme and ordered all Pakistanis to leave the country. Amit Shah named 10 terrorists, out of which 8 terrorists had carried out attacks during the Congress government. Amit Shah said, "These terrorists have been killed under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. The army has eliminated them one by one." He informed the Lok Sabha that after Operation Sindoor, India's DGMO told Pakistan's DGMO that India had attacked the terrorist infrastructure on their land under its right to self-defense. Our operation was successfully completed at 1:26 pm. Immediately after this, our DGMO informed the DGMO there about the destruction of terrorist hideouts across the border.
