IndiGo Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Nagpur Following Bomb Threat; Second Incident in Five Days
New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): A case of bomb threat has been reported on another plane which was going from Kochi to Delhi. After receiving the bomb threat, the plane was landed in Nagpur. According to information, this plane belonged to Indigo Airlines.
This is the third case of bomb threat on a plane in the last five days. Earlier on Monday, Lufthansa Airlines plane also received a bomb threat. This plane was coming from Germany to Hyderabad. On Friday, Air India plane taking off from Phuket also received a bomb threat, after which the plane landed back at Phuket airport.
This Indigo Airlines plane was landed safely at Nagpur airport. Here the security agencies evacuated all the passengers from the plane with utmost caution. After this, the plane was thoroughly checked following all the security rules. This matter was also serious because the person who threatened had even told the flight number. At the time this threat was received, this plane had already taken off from Kochi. Seeing the seriousness of the threat, it was diverted towards Nagpur. At present, this plane is standing there.
It is worth mentioning that today Air India cancelled its San Francisco-Mumbai flight at its scheduled stop in Kolkata due to technical fault in one of its engines. Due to the cancellation of the flight, there was chaos at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and the 211 passengers of 'Boeing 777-200 LR' started pleading with the officials to ensure that they are taken to their destination as soon as possible. Let us tell you that after the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad on June 12, the number of emergency landings of flights has increased significantly.
