Bomb threat rocks Jammu airport, CISF brings into action
Jammu (The Uttam Hindu) - There was a stir at the Jammu airport on Sunday when a threatening email was received. The email used words like "bomb blast" and "I have arrived."
As soon as this email came to light, the airport administration and security agencies immediately swung into action. According to the information, as soon as the information about the threatening mail was received, CISF immediately started a thorough search of the airport premises. Special vigilance was taken keeping in mind the safety of the passengers. A search operation was carried out at the airport. However, no suspicious object was found during the search. Earlier, on Sunday itself, many schools, institutions and the airport of Delhi also received bomb threats. However, after investigation, Delhi Police clarified that no explosive material was found there either. Police and Cyber Cell are busy in finding out the source of these emails.
Earlier, on September 20th, several schools in Delhi received another bomb threat. The schools that received the threat included Krishna Model Public School in Najafgarh, Sarvodaya Senior Secondary School in Qutub Minar, and DPS School in Dwarka. However, after investigation, these threats were found to be false. Similarly, on September 13th, three Max hospitals in Delhi, located in Shalimar Bagh, Dwarka, and Saket, received bomb threats. The email received by Max Hospital's central office explicitly threatened to bomb the hospital. However, this too turned out to be a hoax.
