CBSE releases class 10, 12 exam datesheet: 110 days to go
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the final datesheet for classes 10 and 12 for the 2025–26 academic session. The board exams will begin on February 17, 2026.
The Class 10 exams will be held from February 17 to March 10, 2026, while the Class 12 exams will be held from February 17 to April 9, 2026. The board has also changed the dates for some subjects this time, so that students do not face any clash with other national exams.
CBSE will conduct exams for all subjects in a single shift
Exams are scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. However, some subjects will be scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. due to shorter exam times.
For the first time, the CBSE released the datesheet 110 days in advance, stating that this is the first time the board has released the datesheet 110 days before the exam begins, to give students enough time to prepare. Furthermore, the board has advised JEE Main 2026 candidates to include their Class 11th information in the application form to avoid any exam date clashes.
Advice for students:
The board has requested students and parents to download the datesheet only from the official CBSE website (www.cbse.gov.in) and avoid any misleading information. Information regarding exam centers and roll numbers will be released a few weeks before the exam.
