CNG Auto Bursts into Flames on Four-Lane, 2 Dead, 4 Injured

Muzaffarpur (The Uttam Hindu): A devastating road accident occurred in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district on the Muzaffarpur-Darbhanga four-lane highway in the Gayghat area. A CNG auto caught fire under mysterious circumstances, leading to the death of two people who were burnt alive on the spot.

Four others sustained serious burn injuries and were immediately rushed to Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) for treatment. The sudden blaze triggered panic in the area and drew a large crowd of locals who tried to assist the victims before police and emergency services arrived.

Authorities reached the scene promptly after receiving information about the incident. Efforts are underway to determine the exact cause of the fire. The tragic mishap has left the local community in shock, highlighting once again the critical need for vehicle safety measures on high-speed corridors.
