Delhi Blast Case: NIA Arrests Key Aide of Terrorist Umar from Faridabad
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Soyab, a resident of Dhauj in Faridabad, in connection with the car bomb blast that took place outside the Red Fort on 10 November. He is the seventh accused in the case. According to the investigation, Soyab gave shelter to the main accused, terrorist Umar-un-Nabi, shortly before the explosion and also provided him with logistical support.
The blast had killed several people and left dozens injured. Before this, the NIA had already arrested six of Umar-un-Nabi’s associates. With Soyab’s arrest, the agency has made significant progress in connecting the remaining pieces of the case, and the investigation has moved forward more swiftly.
